Where can I find SWOTs?

Our fabulous now-graduated Business Library Intern, Charlene McCormack, has worked long and hard on a well-integrated group of resources for a thorough SWOT analysis:

Check it out first!

Once again, I adore Investext but you can change it up and try out Forrester for an informing good time.
Happy Learning!

I am looking for an industry analysis, where can I find them?

We have a wonderful Industry Research Guide that was lovingly crafted by our very own Business Librarian here at UW Bothell - Doreen Harwood.
Here is a link: http://library.uwb.edu/guides/BusWeb/BusWebIndustry.htm
My favorite resources on this page are:

The Encyclopedia of Global Industries, which is a print source,
code: REFERENCE HD 2324 .E53

and

Investext: (UW Restricted) http://infotrac.galegroup.com/itw/infomark/0/1/1/purl=rc6_RBW?sw_aep=wash_rbw

The following Thompson Gale industry and international company historical reports are going to be chock-full of the type of information you may need for a market analysis.
They will be infinitely more useful than a Google search!

International Directory of Company Histories: (UW Restricted) http://find.galegroup.com/gvrl/aboutEbook.do?prodId=GVRL&userGroupName=wash_main&actionString=DO_DISPLAY_ABOUT_PAGE&eisbn=1558625623&searchType=PublicationSearchForm

Where can I find a list of the boardmembers for GE?

http://web.lexis-nexis.com/universe (UW Restricted database)
Lexis-Nexis is a wonderful resource for this and much more!
I recommend clicking on the Business Academic Search form which will bring you to the Company Profile link. The Company Profile search function is going to have access to millions of documents, so in order to narrow this down I would type "General Electric" into the company name search at the top, and then narrow the search with the term "board of directors" at the bottom.
Happy Researching!
